After a PhD in Environmental Economics from École Polytechnique (2009), Marc Leandri worked on the economic analysis of pollution and ecosystem services in the context of climate change and the exhaustion of carbon sinks. He is currently an Associate Professor at UVSQ – Université Paris Saclay and UMI SOURCE – IRD. His recent research projects in Health Economics develop theoretical and empirical approaches to better understand and encourage individual protection against vector-borne diseases, in particular tick-borne diseases. He recently extended this scope to sketch the potential contribution of economics to the One Health approach. He is an appointed expert for the French Risk Agency (ANSES) for Health and Environmental issues. More information can be found on his website.
